Program Note:
An experiment in non-octave-repeating scales. Golden Chorale uses a scale that repeats at the golden ratio rather than the octave. The golden ratio is divided as usual into 12 equally spaced tones. The music freely samples from the buffet of new harmonic and melodic options created by this tuning system.
