Program Note:
An electronic soundscape created entirely through synthesis. It depicts a lone ship in a raging sea-storm manned by its last remaining crew, desperately playing a familiar tune to calm both the storm and the heart. The title, translating to “a true song about myself,” is taken from opening lines of the medieval poem The Seafarer.
