I teach private lessons in music composition, piano, guitar, mandolin, and more to students of all ages and experience levels.
I believe everyone can learn music and benefit from taking music lessons, regardless of prior experience. I focus on the individual students’ goals, interests, and needs. As a teacher, my goal is to help my students discover, enrich, and explore their passions in music. I teach students the skills necessary to be complete musicians: not only playing technique and reading music notation, but audiation, learning by ear, improvising, composing, and playing with other musicians.
